8.5 mil. Get something of a brawler type DM-Lee Ho, Vukojevic(if you have him on FM), Mavuba, Palombo(he's sometimes good)...

When i have a DM he is usually my playmaker. I like a guy to set up attacks from deep, so i dont really use 'brawlers'. I have two strong centre-backs, two pacey full-backs, a classy DM, energetic CMs, tricky wingers and a quick ST.

Although i do keep a few 'brawlers' in the squad as back up options. And a target man for desperate last minute attacks.

Who are these brawlers and the target man?

Depends on your budget.
Soren Larsen is a good target man. He's tall, strong and can finish.
Momo Sissoko is a good DM. He's tall, strong, quick and can tackle.

Ah. Soren Larsen is an absolute beast. Sissoko is very good also. But if you play with an offensive DM, then your fullbacks have to be defensively minded.

Fair point but i usually have my full backs gettin forward to support.
It seems a bit gung-ho but it gets me results.
I tend to score a lot of goals but also keep plenty clean sheets.

Clean sheets with so many offensive players? I never had a team without a normal DM, because when I tried only DM playmakers, I'd get results 4-3, 5-2...

Fair enough. I always have two strong centre backs, and the style i play is to keep possession and pass it round the opposition.
So i usually never give the ball away which limits the amount of chances teams get.

Darn it, it takes a lot of bravery to play such offensive. I had Kaluzny on the old managers, then I could mount offensives easily, with him watching my team's back.

This looks good. You play defensive mentality?
I play normal counter-attacking stuff, not particularly attacking nor defensive. However, I'm currently playing a 4-3-3 as a plan B. Attacking, slow tempo, short passing.

-----------------Boruc

Pasanen----Yobo-----------McManus-------Pander

---------Donati---Naka-----Veloso

Arshavin---------------------------------McGeady

-------------------Huntelaar

I could feel that my 5-3-2 was getting a wee bit old and I was starting to scrape wins or even draw...So I used 4-3-3 and destroyed many teams and even beat Manure 2-1...Something I've never managed to do. Huntelaar is brilliant btw. He had a wee bit of a slow start but he's been banging 2 goals per match in the past few weeks

This looks mint, what settings do you give Pasanen, does he go forward or stays back?

Leaving yourself wide open there to counter attacking football. Bigger teams would destroy that formation, No?

i beat man utd a fluke 5-0 at home after re-trying a few times in the champions league quarter finals at home with a 4-3-3 attacking formation. a got beat 2-1 in the 1st leg. mcdonald scored 4 and paul hartley scored 1. it was an even game but somehow celtic only managed to take the chances. how do i do a screen shot to show proof?
