For competition on an old home comp on the TV - PGA golf wins hands down. But then discovered M1 tank platoon on the Amiga. Ahead of it's time, the "artificial intelligence" (why do I always think that describes me) was hard, but not impossible to beat. Anyway after many weeks of wasting my precious life on this I actually finished and won the war. You get a dissapointing american style ticker tape parade.."you won the war buddy". Good game though.
Another one was Dune II, brilliant sounds and addictive.
