Celtic v Hearts Match Thread
After the 4-2 victory against the Pars in the Scottish cup it's back to league duty for the bhoys on Wednesday evening as the entertain Hearts in a 19:45 kick-off.
Will we see the home debut for some of our new signings, will we get the 3 points we need, will we be surprised at team selection and/or tactics?
All match discussions in here please

I think this will be the team:
Boruc
Hinkel
Loovens
Thompson
Braafheid
Kamara
N'Guemo
Brown
McGeady
Fortune
Keane
I think Hearts will defend deep and make it difficult for us to break them down so we need a clinical performance from our attacking players.
Also, I'm quite excited to see Robbie in the flesh for the first time!

1.Boruc
52.Caddis 22.Loovens 48.O'Dea 21.Braafheid
46.McGeady 6.N'Guemo 8.S.Brown(c) 11.Kamara
7.Keane 10.Fortune
Subs: 24.Zaluska(GK), 9.Samaras, 17.Crosas, 18.Ki,
19.Rasmussen, 20.McCourt & 25.Rogne
I know its harsh leaving Rasmussen out, but I have a feeling Mowbray will play Fortune, because Fortune didn't feature atall yesterday, which says to me he was being rested for this game, Rasmussen can come on later if we need a goal

It's a great problem for BTM to have with regards to our strikers.
Fortune's been coming onto a game for weeks now and has impressed the hell out of me, Rasmussen clearly deserves a start, Kamara is showing good promise and we've also got Robbie Keane...say no more lol
I didn't mention Samaras because quite frankly, he's been mince in recent weeks. He should be on the bench and I don't think it'd be such a bad idea giving Boruc a spell on the sidelines either.
It used to be for every 10 great saves, he'd make 1 blunder, now it's 1 great save and 2-3 blunders. Still a class act, but he could do with a few extra miles on the treadmill and being handed a DVD of his first 2 seasons with us, get some of that bloody positional sense back.

Sorry but opened similar thread at same time. can someone please close my thread. Cheers.
Really looking forward to this one. I can see the bhoys giving this mob a serious going over on Wednesday - setting us up nicely for the remainder of the season. The huns will be brickin' it (Keane and co against Weir!) and their bottle will go. Truly can't see us slipping up again this season - Mogga and the bhoys have learned from the poor results in previous months and i have a feeling in my water that the bhoys are now clicking at the right time and will hit top form. I think if we can win 13/15 games and draw 2 at most that we will be champions.
Boruc
Hinkel/Caddis
Thompson
Loovens
Braafheid
McGeady
Brown
N'Guemo
Kamara
Rasmussen
Keane
 Come on the bhoys!!!!

....................Zalsuka.......................
..Hinkel...Hooiveld...Loovens...Braafheid.
McGeady..N'Guemo...Brown....Kamara..
..............Keane..Rasmussen..............
Rasmussen deserves a start, along with Kamara and Braafheid.
Wasn't overly impressed with Caddis, Hinkel straight back in.
Boruc needs a spell on the bench.
A solid performance from Hooiveld and Loovens and the game is ours.
I'll go with 3-0. (scorers: Rasmussen,Keane,Brown)
Come on the Hoops !!

Im expecting some heavy treatment from the Hearts midfield so not sure what the best way for us to line-up..
N'Guemo certainly but not sure who should play beside him in the middle , or if a 4-4-1-1 with either Samaras or Kamara , behind either Keane or Rassmussen is the best way to go..
Im expecting a fairly long night , we simply have to win...

Spot on.
I want to play Keane, Fortuné, Kamara and Rasmussen at the same time. Who should be dropped? It's hard to take a decision.

I think Mowbray's wee 4-3-3 experiment failed for him, he'll be going back to 4-4-2 I reckon verging on 4-2-4. Expect Kamara on the left, McGeady on the right and Keane/Fortune up front. Shame about Rasmussen who will struggle for game time given that lineup.
