Willo Flood
Am I the only one who thinks Willo Flood have become a unfair scapegoat for many Celtic fans?
I think he's a pretty good player on the SPL level (I saw him as the profil with the Arabs), and could do a good back-up job. He could do well next season.
I understand the frustration with lack of signings in January, but it wasn't Willo Floods fault, and the was not the case that Strach and the board only wanted to sign Willo Flood.
I urge every Celtic fan to be more fair to the little irishman.

I've not seen enough of him to comment on how good he is, whenever I did see him play for Dundee Utd he looked decent so think he could be a decent squad player for us but I'll reserve judgement until I see a bit more of him.
You are right - it wasn't his fault he was the only signing in January and he should be judged on his performances not because he was a cheap January signing.

If he doesn't make it at Celtic it won't be through lack of effort, he's a grafter.
I reckon he'll do a job and I also think the fans will take to him pretty quickly as well if he gets a few games under his belt.

Ah Flood, now I watched him warming up in a couple of games and he couldn't have looked more cold or disinterested, sleeves pulled down over his hands.

He is a good player at SPL level. I quite like him, I did when he was at City as well.

I have always thought the wee man was a good player and i was glad we signed him i think if he gets a decent run in the team he could be a big player for us this season.

he's not a bad player though is a bit lightweight; me and some mates had the pleasure of meeting him last year in a chippy in Dundee after that wonderful night when we won 3 in a row. he does honestly look about 15 years old lol! me and my mates asked him if he as an irishman wanted Celtic to win the title (we were VERY pished) though he diplomatically said it didnt matter during the game....though with a twinkle in his eye he then said "all the the Irish boys (at Dundee Unt) were happy to see Celtic rather than Rangers win it!" Classic, made my night when i heard that

He deserves another chance anyway, but being honest i don't think he'll ever be any good for us. Too lightweight for my liking, but a good backup.

Could turn out to be a bargain. But don't ever see him being a regular first team player for us. Useful to have in the squad though.
