I think he could still do a job. Started well, but faded. Maybe Strachan took away his confidence? Former £10M player and the most capped ever for Italy, at under-21; there must be something to him.

Tbh thats football fans, When a players form drops then they get stick off fans, what u want them to say awww poor boy i know hes good. This is on his future and yeh i slated him before but i would luv him to find his form and be a great player for the team.

never given a proper chance? he started, according to the official celtic website, 38 times and came on 11 times as a sub. he had his chance he played a good number of games on the trot and although he looked not too bad at first just turned out to be another dud. 38 starts, if a few of the boys in the reserves got that chance they would be first team regulars. the only reason he got that many appearences was that strachan had to try to justify his pricetag.

He's used to playing next to classy midfielders that usually knock the ball around at a slower pace, maybe playing next to hyper active Scott Brown after 12 cans of red bull didnt suit him, he may be ok if he just sits back in front of back 4 but I think he may be better elsewhere now.
Think in a 3 man midfield he might link with Crosas well and choose between Robson and Brown for the other slot.
