why to the tourney organizers build this up as a tourney when Celtic dont play barcelona

people will be under the impression that we are playing them when in fact we are not,

Hmm, suppose so as Sky have been advertising with the list of teams not actually saying who's playing who so maybe they should've made it clearer.

That is true because I thought we were going to be playing Barcelona until i noticed the boards at the side of the park which is because of the way SKY have advertised the competition.

i dont think sky are the ones to really blame here when you think about it, every single preseason "cup" thats been done no team played all the teams that are involved e.g the one cup that we done in america a few years back when liam miller was coming through ranks i think a good amount of teams were involved in that e.g us, man u, chelsea? (i think), barca? (i think) and maybe two others we only played 3 out of the 5 teams avalible, in most cases teams will just play 2-3 games and miss one out in effect.

plus celtics website clearly state what the schedule is way before it was advertised on sky.

but at the end of it all there would of been much more money involved for celtic atleast if we were to have played barca aswell as it would of been massive although i'mlooking forward to going as the brother in law is a typical EPL fan thinking it is the only league out there granted he does have respect for celtic.

Knew all along we wouldnt be playing Barca, prefer to play Spurs anyway to be honest as the stadium will be full for that game considering its only a few miles away from Tottenham.
