Dont Be fooled by Rangers
Listen guys i know sunday was a disaster but try not to be fooled into thinking rangers are a league winning side, there far from it, although pedro mendes will prove to be a good signing, u look at the others..lafferty was unconsistant at burnley and poses no great goal scoring threat, i suspect he will be a bench warmer for most of the season, velica will be lucky to get 10 games all season, edu i dont know much about but im guessing wont be much of a player, and bougerra doesnt look to comfertable on the ball and i hear is prone to a blunder or 2 and ofcoarse roger miller we all know will struggle to score goals all season and will never beat the boo boys, so all i see is a rangers team that have weakened by selling carlos cueller and have barry ferguson sidelined, nothing can take away the shock defeat at the weekend but i strongly believe it was a bad day at the office, so im not gonna read into all this "rangers are favourites for the spl" nonsence, there simply an average side who have been dumped out of europe!

i genuinly believe we will be okay, with the old firm coming so early in the season, i think anything can happen, i wouldnt have been suprised if it was 6-6, consistancy away from home and fitness will decide our season, im not gonna worry, its just hard to take listening to the rangers fans who think they have won the league after a few games, hopefully we can keep all the boys fit and maybe change a thing or 2 in defence and we will be laughing all the way to 4 in a row!

You really are an optimist Capriano. I must admit it's nice to see. Breath of fresh air mate. Even if you're wrong, it's still nice to see.

Yip, Rangers still play Broadfoot, Adam and Papic etc, who wouldn't get a game for us. Also I was relieved when they sold Cousin who gave us a good few problems for only 1.5 million.
They will drop points at Aberdeen, Hearts and Dundee Utd but we will to.

cheers mate, im just trying to stay optimistic, i was really down for 2 days and it just got me thinking that maybe its not as bad as every1 thinks, then i thought about both sides and i really dont think theres too much for concern so early in the season, a couple of mistakes and stupid goals against us certainly wont decide our season, its what we do from now on and how we come back from it that will proove descisive, you dont become a bad side over night, so lets keep our chins up and look forward to an exciting title fight and some glory days at parkhead on champions league nights against the cream of europe, its all good !

Like strachen said and im behind him, we played good first half and 2 individual errors and a bit of brilliance from mendes lost us the game.

sorry mate but papac would get a game for us ahead of wilson. But yeah im confident they will drop points at those venues but im also sure we will. I think we are both poor teams but sorry to say it but they have strengthened and we have not.

that was the direct reason we lost the game and the goals. But the other reason we lost the game was the lack of heart and overall ability of the current crop of players. Man for man on sunday, they beat us with just better players and better individual performances. In a game of football you have to get the better of the man you are up against and overall our guys didnt get the better of theirs.

We will win the league no problem i'm telling you. And if we don't Strachan should be sacked.
Now i've always stuck by Strachan but we have a superior squad and are in a far better financial state to rangers so if we loose the league Gord should be blamed, but that won't happen
What i am personally worrying about is the champions league games, but at worst we will finish third in the group which won't be too bad.

Yeahhh, well kinda true, but we did look a bit shambolic at times. It's not all rosy, even if it's not all grim either. Bt we know that and Capri's right about keeping thae chins up.

A think we should just concentrate on all our fixtures until January, see where we are in the league and how we've performed in the champions league & then discuss whos winning the league

disagree
imo rangers will be strong this season i like there midfield ferguson mendes davis dont take this mob easily. They are more than up for trying to win this league. The thing i was impressed by was when naka scored that free kick mcgregor was going mad at his wall and certain players. 4-2 up with seconds to go and he is pissed off about loseing a goal that shows me just how much this mob want to win.
I want to see more of that in celtic, players shouting at each other keeping them on there toes, some determination and passion and most of all fight for us fans and the club. Celtic have beter players than rangers but imo they are to laid back. I think our players took rangers to lightly on sunday, "ahhh we are at celtic park we will beat this mob" sunday was a wake up call.
