Caldwell: Won the battle but not the war.
Celtic defender Gary Caldwell warned Rangers that they may have won the battle but not yet the war after the Ibrox men stormed to a 4-2 victory in the first Old Firm derby of the season at Parkhead.
But Caldwell was defiant, stressing how the champions had come from behind last season to pip their great rivals to the title.
He said: "We are chasing Rangers again but we proved last year that we are strong enough to do that and I'm sure we will do it again this year.
"We are the champions, they've got to try to come and take it from us.
"This time they were better than us and we hold our hands up but as it proved last year, it is a long season."

In the guys defence i think he was given far to much responsibility too early in his career. He should have had a quality experienced CB beside him to bring him on. Just my opinion.

Agreed - always a good third choice, but the notion of making him captain this early on was just crazy.
