surely there must be cctv footage the west end is chocka with cameras....someone must have the footage and seen who done it....i hope their faces get made public or even some names....

The police have CTTV footage of the incident....It's said that it shows two heavy set characters come up on Neil from behind and hit him over the head with something before kcking into him for 30 seconds or so.

I think it's infair to say he "was only asking for trouble" - it's a fuckin disgrace and embarassment to the city of Glasgow that he cannot go out for a pint in a so called 'trendy' part of the city.
