Villarreal vs Celtic TalkCeltic Meet
Seems like everyone wants to go to this one. It could be a 50,000 mass exodus to Spain. Could someone make this a sticky so we can post where we're staying/Drinking/When we're arriving and how long we'll be there.
Also if people are hiring cars maybe they'd have room to give other TC members a lift from the airports.
I'll be going with Senyatta & McShannon67 plus a crowd of non members including one Manure fan who just want to experience a Celtic CL away game.

We're flying Glasgow-Stansted-Valencia on the 29th of September and back Valencia-Stansted-Glasgow on the 1st of October with Easyjet. Anyone else got the same flights booked?
Our plan at the moment is head into the center of Valencia and get the train to Villareal, but if anyone could give us a lift, well your drinks will be on me for
Having a hard time finding accommodation, no website has anywhere in Villareal, most websites dont even recodnise "villareal" as a place any suggestions?

Not going as of yet, only because the town is pretty small and we are only getting 1,500 tickets. But me and my pal are thinking of going over and doing a 1 nighter.

SUGGESTIONS FOR ACCOMODATION:
Villarreal
Vilareal
2 spellings, first is Castilian Spansih, 2ns is Valenciano (Catalan)
Also Villarreal de los Infantes (I think)
Also, Castellon or Castellon de la Plana is right next door and bigger too. Like airdrie Motherwell distance but better connected.
Other Try other towns nearby too, googled to see where they are.

Also Youth hostels are cheap and good, not sure if there's any there, but try under ALBERGUE JUVENIL.

I reckon Villarreal wont be able to cope with everybody.
Other places within spitting distance are
Burriana
Almazora / Almaçora
Onda
Benicássim/Benicásim
Be careful with the spelling. The first version is Castilian which'll get more results.
ALSO
try HOSTAL or PENSION which are cheaper hotel type places, less luxurious but usually ok. Cheaper too. I mention this so you realise that these are accomodation too. Pensión is usually the cheapest and nost basic. Dont do food.
For other towns go to google maps and focus on Castellon de la Plana to give u an idea of distance. Villarreal is about 9 miles from Castellon I think.
Good luck.
