I am really looking forward to the Man U matches. Whenever Naka steps up to a freekick, everyone in the stadium will be holding their breath (pretty much like as if it was a penalty kick).

It'll come down to the last game as always (virtually) - just happy we get a double header against Man U with the second game at CP, and that our final game is at home to. What we MUST do is beat Aalborg first game - that'll go a long way to ensuring UEFA Cup at the very least and should put the team at ease - we're not going to win the fucking trophy, and have a young squad so the idea should be to gain experience and fucking enjoy the occasion - that's when we play better anyway.....

last game at home to villarreal is so important!

if we go to villarreal in september and play anti-football and get 1 point then that should do a fucking huge ammount to our chances! 4 points from real, 6 from aalborg and surely something from man utd!

key players for me will be maloney,aiden,the greek with the hair and the formation we deploy,the feyenord match pre-season is the way to go hopefully in europe,with 2 wide players joining the sole front man when attacking with 2 deep lying midfielders one free ala naka

i reckon we will be far more productive this year going forward with maloney in the team taking the creative responsibilty off aiden and naka

its a tough group but united are usually slow starters,also ronaldo is injured and we can catch them on the hop,villareal we should win one lose one and aiborg being danish should play into our hands as they wont be technically brilliant,more physical so im quietly confident of 2nd place

anythings possible if we can avoid spanish opposition in the latter rounds imo,their style and technical superiority makes them our toughest opponents

Don´t underestimate Aalborg...

They played in the UEFA Group stage last year after beating Sampdoria.

They are first and foremost a team with fairly good teamspirit, and you wont come easy to any points, if Celtic underestimate them!
They´re practically without anystars or known players. But won the championship last year from us (FC Copenhagen), simply because they did´nt play poorly at any time during the season.

On the bright side... Aalborg is renowned in Denmark (and scandinavia) for having the best most compact barstreet. "Jomfru Ane gade", if you don´t start a fight there, you´ll have the time of your life on an away game.
