THE Mood In Villarreal....
I've been checking out and left a message on Villarreal forum 'Foro Groguet' .
They're confident of first or second place, and some of even reaching the final!
Anyway, theyre DELIGHTED at getting Celtic, I won't post the comments-all in spanish- but they love us, and are delighted probably more cos of the GReat Celtic fans and the good memories from last time.
They know it's gonna be a party and think the world of the Bhoys.
Nice to know isn't it?
Probably a good place to ask about digs, pubs, etc if anyone's interested. Pm me if you want my user details. (Spies need not apply)

I'll leave a message on their board Andy and see what advice they can give me. It looks like it's not as active as here. In fact it looks like they've effed off to enjoy a stroll and some mediterranean nightlife. It's as quiet as the hunnish ar gonny be on Monday...

Isn't Villarreal in some small town but all the people there are hardcore football fans. Saw their stadium is only 25,000 but apparently the whole town shuts down on match days. Seems like a great place to play away.

Very small town, incredible suport considering the size of the place I think it's only got about 50,000 people. Apparently the money is from some investor who has made a mint from tile manufacturing.
