i would have loved to have maloney back at the start of pre season but after seeing that caddis can play the role brilliantly i dont think he would be any use to us now.

bigger and better city to live in, a better standard of league, a challenge of breaking into the top 5 clubs in england and most importantly MARTIN O'NEILL.

don't know why people can;t accept players back, fuck sake they owe it to themselves for a new challenge.

mate birmingham is a better city than glasgow come on ... and he is only on a thousand quid more than celtic were offering ,, and for martin o`neill a manager that played the wee man a handfull of times mostly bringing him on with minutes to go ... fair enough the league is a far better standard thats about it ....

the ones in bold I'll give you, the last one, you can't be serious, O'Neill wouldn't play him, and man oh man looks at whats happened, O'Neill aint playing him. Truth is, they have Young and Abonglahor, both better than Maloney.

I'd personally be happy if he came back, Cause i was watching the 2005/06 season review yesterday and forgot how good he was that year, His goal against Dunfermline was a cracker as well

I for 1 would welcome him back with open arms. I would also hate the fact that he could cross to the dark side although I dont think we would let that happen.

As for him jumping ship then coming back. There are other players we have welcomed back in the past
Nicholas, McAvennie and if my memory serves When we signed Viduka he quit straight away without kicking a ball although we still had to pay for him. We signed Viduka in December 98 and he did not make his debut until Feb 99 now that was a lot worse and he was forgiven
