Let him stay on the Villa bench til his contract expires - he may come back on his own accord once he's learnt some humility.

how would he not stregthen the squad? I would bring him back....no doubts about it.....hes a good player and hes getting wasted at Villa. Hes just a back up there.....bring him back to celtic park.....point is nakamura has only got one year left and someone will have to take up that right midfield....and i think maloney could be the man to do that.....dont see why not....sometimes players who have made mistakes do everything they can to prove and thats what makes them a better player.....he will play his heart out for us.....and thats wht you want...how do you know that he wouldnt knock one of our first team players out....i honestly would rather we put the money we have towards a top class defender but if we were to purchase him then he would get my bet to make an impact!

Will his effort be dependant on money???? Why pay more than the 1m we recieved for a player who left- on his own accord- and has done hee haw since???

No....i dont think money was the factor that made him gan.....the epl is one of if not the best league in the world and what player wouldnt want to go and try his best there....I didnt say that we should pay more than 1million for him....where in my quote did i say that? What i did say is that we should put that money to sorting out the defence but if we were to get him i would back him. If the transfer is 1million then fine....sign him if not dont. Everyone gans on about how he turned his back on celtic for a few extra bob.....maybe it was because he wanted to try the premiership.....he hasnt done much at villa but he did do his stuff at celtic and he could do it again

In all reality we wont get him for 1m, Villa have stated that... hes on a long contract! In any case he performed well for 1 year here and even in the second year Aiden McGeady displaced him from the 1st first team!

Money was the key, it was stated then that he felt "undervalued" by the club! He got too big for his boots and those boots have been more than filled since his departure!

If hes willing to come back on the terms he left on.... maybe! Give him a weans contract, until he stops acting like a wean!

We've already got 3 young players pushing hard for RM. I think we'll be just fine without him.

i personally dont really rate maloney ,hes average in my books ,i wouldnt like celtic to go for him again ,but i thought about this and would to hear what yous think on it ,he left basically for the money,villa arent exactly a championship ship contender,if celtic went for him again ,and met the asking price ,but undercut maloneys wages and offered him say in the region of 16-18000 pounds ,do you think he would be found out as a money grabber ,or bite the bullet and come back for the team he allways loved at that money been offered ? by the way does anyone know how much at present is he on

I wouldn,t bring him back! no chance , no matter what he left our club chasing more money! fair enough he wanted to leave to beter himself in a beter league, but i think it would be a very bad move,,,he,s good enough but he obvious isn,t a celtic fan!! if he was he wouldn,t have left in the first place and just because he has gone down there and couldn,t cut it,,, remember celtic paid his wages for the best part of a year while injured and made him a millionaire, basically made him the player he is today,, remember he left for a crap fee of 1 million which was total rubbish so he doesn,t deserve to pull on the hoops in my opinion!!!! i do agree with some of u guys he would do a job but if i was wgs i would just let him stay doon there and rot in the av reserves.
