Bobo played for a year in the reserves whilst we had less talent playing in the cl now Graversen.
Ok we know the club want to save money but ffs this is madness, what did strachan sign him for.
Wgs is admitting he signed a donkey on £40k a week and £1mill bonus if he lets him play in the reserves.

Strachan says "it's not the player's fault, it's the system".

The system, and the fact he's a f^cking clumsy twat who CONSTANTLY ingored team instructions that many of us will have heard during games at the start of last season (even against Mirren in his 1 good game).

Just a f^cking disaster of a signing - can't believe how frantic he is, and how much his being at CP has fuct our planning for the next season.

There's another wad of articles that can be found from the last month or so, and while i don't buy into paper talk in general, i think it's foolhardy to say "wrong" just like that (unless of course you make up his payslips on a weekly basis, in which case fair play).

Also disagree with refusing to play someone when paying that much - if he is a player at the club who impresses in training - and, say in times of injury horror is called upon, then he will play. To just say "will never play again" is ridiculous.

so he should let him play in the 1st team and be shite there just so it's not admitting TG is a donkey?

WGS knows he signed a donkey here, we know it aswell.

but... if 2 years ago someone told you that we had a chance to sign Tommy Graveson and had the funds to do it but turned it down, would you like everyone else not have been raging at our inability to recognize a good player?

the 40k per week is made up of bonuses such as goal bonus, apperence bonus, and loyalty bonus'
now bare in mind ALL players wages are made up of bonuses does anyone ACTUALLY believe gravesen has EVER seen a 40k pay check from celtic?
he maybe got near it with his goals against the huns, or his hat-trick against st mirren.

imo, yes 30k per week basic tops.
when he signed i was in disbelife that he was on 40k a week and read every artical and watched a few interviews with lawell, strachan, gravesen on channel 67 at the time and thats where i got my info from. every paper, including them that published that he was on a wage that could with bounes see him land 40k a week seem to have forgotten this. - i would attempt to find you the video clips of lawell etc with these quotes but channel 67 dosn't have a big archive and i no longer have channel 67
imo its nothing more than to help make gravesen even more of a hate figure.

Gravesen's well under-performed here..We need to offload him to get some decent players in.

But think about it..Gravesen was a tank at Everton, and Real Madrid signed him..I don't think anyone was disappointed when they found out we signed him. Too bad he hasn't been playing to the standard he used to.
