will there be another larsson
i know he was one of the best to ever grace parkhead but it has been 4 years and i need to know if there will be another larson anytime soon i know mcgeady is loved as much as larson was but i mean a stricker tat has the potential that larson had. which leads me to me next question has mcdonald got the potential to be the next larson...................

I believe there will be another Larsson but McDonald is not in the same catagory.

Never be another larsson. However hopefully we can get another talismanic striker, personally i think skippy is great goalscorer and will be great for us but he wont be a celtic icon.

Our hero's are not comparable, the greats are the greats and thats that. There will be many more great players but there will never be another Henke, just like Jinky, Billy mcNeill or all the other greats. They stand alone as legends, the new ones do it for themselves. Watch out for ma wee bhoys in 10 years

there wont be another larsson unless his son signs for us or we sign sebastian larsson
look we may get another player some day who may be as good as the king but he wont be another larsson, he will be his own player
i hate those comparisons like when a new argentinian wonderkid comes along they are "the new maradonna" how many of them were there i can think of 10 of the top of my head

Larsson was unique, the same as the rest of the Celtic Legends.
There may be someone who becomes a Celtic Legend but in their own way.
Hartson thinks McDonald can become one. Hope so.

It wasnt just his goals it was his link up play and work rate which were both exceptional. He was a great goalscorer but also a great team player (which Skippy isnt yet).
His attitude and profesionalism were also top class. He could have had his pick of the clubs years before he left but knew he had a good thing going with Celtic.
And the fact he was a genuine world class player and we signed him for peanuts is a special thing.
There will be other legends, but not another Henrik Larsson.

I dont think there ever will be another Larsson, he could do everything... he was an absolute peach of a player, the only player that comes close since he has left has been Artur Boruc.. game in game out hes always been on top of his game... and his presence is identical of Larssons.

If you're wanting to make comparisons with the squad we have just now the only one you can make to Henke is Boruc. Both world class and both in the mix at their peak to be described as the best in their position in the whole of Europe.
I personally think if we lose Boruc it will be as big a blow as losing our talismanic striker.
