The midfielders need to contribute more goals. Hartley & Brown in particular. Robson will score a few i think & McGeady should be aiming for double figures

Absolutely no chance mate. You under estimate how highly Bojan is regarded at Barca. He gets his game regularly for starters. Trying to get him on loan is a no hoper.

We missed our chances on Klasnić and Forssell. I don't think WGS is even looking for a striker.

I think we can rule out Killen or Deeks as first team players now and Sheridan doesnt look ready yet despite being a great prospect. I thought McGowan looked good but he looks more of an attacking midfielder than a natural striker to me. JVOH, Skippy, Samaras and Hutchinson probably are good enough to win us the SPL again but all have their plus and limitations and none is a really top class striker with everything. Unfortunately with the market as it is we are going to have to roll our own or get very lucky. Samaras is the latest of a long line of talented but damaged goods players we have got on the cheap and so its 50-50 whether he will make it. He has talent and was a goals machine in Holland so there is hope. Even Hartson and Sutton were damaged goods.

Yes we need a back up player mabye spending 1 or 2 million would be money well spent but hopefully McGowan will be the player we need

even though hutchison and sheridan are unproven every player is unproven at some point and there is only one to get experience, thats 6 strikers i'd far rather have any day than rangers' 9
