Joe Doumbe
If Joe Doumbe is fit this year where will his place be?
Before he got injured i thought he was quality. But now I think Hinkel is our best RB, an i really wanna c Wilson get a lot of games cos hes brillian young n scottish, n then theres Caddis cumin through n hes gona need some action, i just cant see where Doumbe is gona fit in.
Anybody got any ideas on the situation?

Reserves , think he was only signed as we had so many injuries at the time , well down the pecking order , depending on first team injuries can't see him gettin out of the reserves

Hinkel is a good right back but at times can lake pace...
Doumbe i thought was a good right back also but this could be his last season at Celtic possibly....
Wilson i would like to see play left back maybe.. he played left back for Dundee Utd and for us for a while.. Naylor not playin great right now

Can't see Doumbe being anywhere else this season than in the reserves.

I agree that this will more than likely be his last season at celtic. I reckon next year there will be big changes to the team again. Gravesen and Balde will be shifted. Hartley will be 33 during next season so he'll probs be dropped to the bench for a younger model and big Jan could be moved on aswell.

I would say he was our 2nd best right back to be honest behind Caddis

AC at home. He was great until he got injured. He has played since though, as a sub i think.

Remember him struggling a bit before his injury against Milan. Definitely deserves another chance, though, as not all the teams he will come up against in Europe will be as strong as Milan were going forward.

I thot Doumbe was cracking against united in the CL but theats the only game of him i remember.
Although I think Caddis is a very talented player with bags of potential, as an out an out RB in my opinion Wilson is definatly better for the time being, hes solid, quite fast an good goin forward, everything u want really. I just thought Hinkel is slightly more solid an really impressed me in the run-in. Im a big believer in full backs being defenders before attackers, i.e. they need to be quality at defending no matter how good attacking, this is the reason Caddis wont be the our 1st choice RB among other reasons such as experience.
Watching Wilson on at LB last season a few times i thought he 'did the job' for us but i know Naylor is a good player just look at his 1st season and if we play Wilson there I think we are wasting his ability.
Anyway thats my more in-depth view of things, I could be wrong about everything its just personal opinion!
