The 3/4 pitch was a bug bear of Tommy's as well, he didn't want it he wanted a full length one and Lawell eluded to that fact at his funeral when he said he had to try hide it from him!

Think we have permission & plans to build a full size indoor pitch, possibly later on in the year.
Can't remember where I saw this, but remember seeing it.
I always thought that we would follow the example of FC Barcelona & build an equivelant of "La Masia", where they take the best of the best oy young players & provide coaching, training, education & above all accommodation at their complex.
Lennoxtown always seemed to be perfectly suited to this type of arrangement, which I always hoped the castle would be used for.
Otherwise, why buy the Castle?

I live a matter of miles away from both, Lennoxtown is full of neds and is generally classed as under developed. Murray Park is based in a far more respected area.
As far as the actual buildings, Murray Park has been riddled with problems from day one whereas we've encountered very little so far. Both need the correct staff to be able to get the best out of the facilities as without decent physios, coaches, chefs etc all they are is static buildings that do nothing.
