I would just like to wish paddy all the best. He is a fantastic talent, full of skill and trickery. I am a Derry City fan and let me tell all my fellow hoops fans that this man will pleasantly surprise you. I understand that some people will be concerned as to why we have signed a player from the eircom league, but this man is special. He has received a lot of praise from football commentators since his return home five years ago. I have been speaking to a man who recently played in the SPL and he says Paddy will have no bother fitting into playing in the SPL. It may take him time to get up to speed with the old firm games but outside of that he will perform without a doubt against the likes of Aberdeen. give him time Bhoys

A good player, but nowhere as good as Paddy.

When they played against each other (Shelbourne V Derry), Paddy was way by far the better player.

I agree with mc conns ..

As a derry supporter meself, i know how good paddy is. I know the eircom league isnt at the standards of the SPL but its not as far from it as ppl think.

He knows himself hes gota improve his fitness to start holding a place in the side .. but that will come. Hes got the flair and ability , ye cant question that. Once he gets the fitness levels up he'll be a better player and then he'll be pushing for a place in the 1st team.

Was probably the best player in Ireland when he played for Shamrock Rovers. Maybe a chance to wear the Hoops again will bring out the best in him.
