Clagan what is your problem with Paddy Mc Court.....
You ask any player in the eircom league who would they want in there team or most skillful player and id say 90% of them would of said Pat Mc Court!!!
I for one am delighted with the signing he will be a big hit in Celtic!

Look at Steven Hunt, Kevin Doyle, Roy O Donovan, Daryl Murphy etc...... all made the transation from eircom league to EPL so why not.
Plus this thread was to say good luck to Pat McCourt not to give out about him!

i dont care what players in the eircom league think mate, i really dont. maybe you have lower standards than me, but i expect to see celtic competing to sign top players not players from the eircom league who look like they live in a tree

yes i have buddy quite a few times standing soaked at the brandywell and also on TV and i dont rate him. i wouldn't start slating the bhoy unless i'd seen him play. he really isn't very good.
as for your point about murphy, doyle and hunt i never saw any of them becoming as good as they did and i said a few times earlier in this thread that i hope i'm proven wrong but i dont see it happening with mc court

He also scored some good goals in vital times this season.
Not saying they are world beaters or anything but the step from eircom league to big leagues can be done is what I am trying to say!
