McFadden on Soccer AM

Favourite player: McStay
Favourite ground: Parkhead

It wouldn't be too hard to lure him up north in the summer.

Yes I seen that mate although I wouldn't read to much into it in my opinion. Gone are the days when players are desperate to play for their boyhood team. Money talks now mate.

Birmingham's was the only offer accepted by Everton!!!!!!

Zarate is a good player. SHAME ABOUT THE £20M ASKING PRICE!!!! he doesn't belong to Birmingham. he was on loan there.

Except he never did turn us down for Birmingham as we never made a bid for him, we asked Everton to loan him to us, they said no and then Brum came in and offered £6M and we never matched that - rightfully so because even though I'd love him here I'd never pay that for him. He never had a choice between Celtic or Brum, his only choice was stay at Everton and be a bit part player or go to Birmingham and be a regular.

I'd still love to see him at Parkhead but if his price is £6M that's just ridiculous, we should've moved for him when he was at Motherwell and was valued £1M at most.

I think McFadden would do a great job at Celtic. Forget about signing Samaras and put up the money for McFadden.

Nah not for me am afraid. He exactly done that well for either Everton or Birmingham down south. he couldn't get a game for Everton and when he has been playing he's done feck all with Birmingham.

I actually know him and he never turned us down, he was desperate for a move. I would love to see him here but it would depend on the asking price.

£6m is far too much if that is the asking price... £2 or £3m would be the very most I would even consider paying for him
