Notice how all these are jocks and none of them are exactly old.
Oh, I'd keep Samaras too and bring in at 1 or 2 centre halfs.

Id agree we could get mcfadden on the cheap alright, badly need a LB and a CB though bikey from reading could be one to look at for CB maybe wayne bridge could be tempted by first team and champions league football?

I'd have went for Bullard if Fulham had got relegated, unfortunately they never.
I doubt we'll be signing anything from England the way the market is just now. Portsmouth quoted £15 million for Crouch and guys like Bale and Walcott going for £10 million+ without kicking a ball in the Premiership.

I would agree about the pair of feltchers. Darren would be worth anything up to a 4-5 million punt (think thats our max anyway) but the EPL is terrible value for money and I can see some lowly EPL team offering double that.
Stevie I think looks a great prospect but will most fans except spending loads on a young player who we wont see the best of till his 2nd season? The attitude to Scott Brown (which I think is unreasonable) suggests not Personally I am all for buying young for thinking of the future rather than immediate return so If we are really in the money with say 20 million to spend (e.g if Artur goes) then yeah I would splash broon type money for him.
In reality I dont think we will be buying either. I think we will be looking mainly at eastern Europe, the best value market within the EU and without visa problems. Talking of visas, wonder if we will have another crack at that American goalie who is meant to be something special.

This guy is way out of our league it will be the same with most players out there after the Euros if they have one or two good games there value can increase buy a good few million i.e. Croatian , Russian and Polish players thats why most of our transfer dealings must be done early and keep us away from buying players from relegated teams or average tranfers from the championship we have a good core of Scots in the team so foreign players are a good option

What about the big striker at Spartak pavluachenko, think we would be out our price range as well tho. Class act.
The Big Czech Defender at Fiorintina, thomas ujfalusiquality and am sure he is on a bosman.

Hope we get McFadden this summer, did anyone see him talking about Celtic and Paul McStay on Soccer AM?
True Celt sign him up.
We should sign Richard Dunne too.

Jussi Jaaskelainen from Bolton. I like this guy and would be betetr than Mark Brown as competition for Boruc in my book.
Richard Dunne I like the big man. Solid and a hard tackler would be perfect with him and Big Mick in the middle of defence i think.
Nicky Shorey Seems to me that Naylor doesn't want to be at Celtic as he seems unhappy. His performances just haven't been the same. Shorey would be a great buy for us.

A few people have mentioned Mellberg - do you mean the guy at Aston Villa?
I'm pretty certain he has signed a pre-contract with Juventus.

Kaladze - £2.5m
Klasnic - Free
McFadden - £5m
Sakho/Taiwo/Shorey - £3m/£4m/£5m
Jaaskelainen - Free
Vokejevic - £2m
spending £12.5m doesn't dound unreasonable to me. since we spent around £10m last summer.
