AC Milan, Arsenal, Bayern Munich and Man Utd all have ageing keepers. £20 million for a proven international goalkeeper, who is only 28 will be seen as a good investment. Lawell will know this and will probably hold out for it.

Arsenal have Almunia, who is barely 30, and another young polish keeper (I forget his name and am too lazy to find it out).

I don't think they will be calling for Boruc.

United have Ben Foster to replace Van Der Sar, and if he is not deemed good enough will probably go abroad to find a replacement.

As for Munich, there are a few decent keepers in Germany at the moment, the Schalke keeper in particular. Bayern normally snap up most of the good young players in the Bundesliga, so it is unlikely they will be after Boruc, they will stick to their own league.

Not saying Boruc isn't a good keeper or worth decent money, I just don't think the clubs the mentioned will be in for him.

McGeady and Boruc would easily walk into any major European club, so they alone I would value over 15mil. Considering donkeys like Bent cost Spurs 15mil, Andrew Johnson was 8mil, Hutton for 9mil...then I'd say

McGeady 20mill
Brown 7 mill
McDonald 6 mill
McManus 5 mill
Hartley 1 mill
Robson 2 mill
Naka 4 mill

Because Naka, Robson and Hartley are pretty old for footballers, I would not expect many clubs would be willing to pay too much for them.

absolute bollocks. McGeady wouldn't walk into AC Milan or Man Utd's team. theres two major european teams there.

only keeper to go for above £10m is Buffon so i think your valuation of Boruc is over priced. he'll go for about £12m.

you've just compared a different and expensive market and over rated players, ie english players, prices to ours. doesn't work like that. if McGeady was English and playing for Everton i have no doubt he'd be on the market for £17m. but he's Irish and plays for a scottish team so we'd be extremely lucky to get £12m for him.
