jan is in a brawl with whatever CB is marking him the entire game. And hey if a CB is tied up that happens to open up a route to goal or at least some extra space for a certain 5'6'' striker with 30 goals

he has the habit of scoring important goals just when I want him taken off as he is doung my nut in  . he is slow as shit but seems to have formed a decent partership with skippy. as long as someone is scoring and the team is winning i dont care.

I'm re-watching the 16/04 OF game with a sane mind right now, and I gotta say that Jan's really class in the target man role. I remember people saying on this board a few months ago that Jan was good at jumping but that his heading was pish. Absolute rubbish that.

Personally if we can pick up Klasnic for nowt I'd give him JVoH's wages & punt JVoH for 3-4 million back to Holland.
I'd put the money earned towards strengthening the team, with no harm done - especially with Jan being in his final contracted year.
Klasnic is younger & while he probably doesn't know the words to "the fields", he would be just as good if not better than Jan (imo), his goal against Artur was a peach!!

I forgave him for a lot last season when he scored the last minute winner at the first Old Firm game at Parkhead.
I wouldn't mind keeping him, but if someone comes in with over 4.5mil I'd sell. If we keep him, we need other options.
Plus, I reckon he should of been doing about 25 years hard labour for that tackle on Amdy Faye!
