At the start yes but they have left in the interim.

He signed for us January 2007 until May 2008, not a bad deal imo.

remember in preseason he was micks only challenger for the captaincy, was appointed vice-captain then got injured. a shame if you ask me he was good last season but was spent afterwards. hope he does well for himself in later life.

we signed elvis at a time when we needed quality cover for our cb's
the man delivered
when he leaves the first guy i expect to lead the tone of thanks will be big mick cause if he could'nt learn how to be an old firm captain on and off the pitch from elvis he will never learn
good luck big man for the future whatever it brings

Good luck to him. Signed during an injury crisis and did a decent job for us.

He made an easy target for some, but I don't remember him making any big mistakes.

but for me a bad taste has been left by the attitude of some fellow tims to the guy partly because of his ex-clubs and partly simply because he was an SPL signing. SPL signings get dogs abuse but they were always important to us before we started to overspend in the last 10-12 years. I think SPL signigns have to do twice as well to win fans over. There was not enough good will towards Elvis IMO and every shortcoming was magnified. I think he was a very decent player (ask BBJ who the best SPL defender was) whose legs were simply packing in.

He played for the Huns TWICE and the diet Huns TWICE. Both clubs whose fans are known to be prejudiced against us. It's quite normal not to take to him as one of our own.

Stunningly average player, slow as a week in the jail.
