let the people sing is a different (and much better) song. Thats the way it gets sung at games though. The green brigade tend to to start LTPS with the fisrt verse of that though (for those who are in love theres a song..) and then go on with the later verses of TLIYL - ie

as i was walking in the shannon water, hand in hand with ..etc (google it).
