I think youre right,I dont think Hinkel will be signed in time(if he signs at all?)But I think WGS will be reluctant to change the back four even if Hinkel is secured.

i think without mcgeady and naka we shouldnt play out and out wingers and let the full backs do any attacking on the wings but mainly concentrate on playing through them down the centre, this is what i think the team should be:
--------------------boruc------------------
hinkel--------balde---------mcmanus------naylor
---------------------hartley--------------------
-------------donati---------jarosik-------------
--------------------brown-------------------
--------------skippy-------jvoh---------------
subs: brown
caldwell
bjarnason
caddis
riordan
sheridan

I haven't read why McGeady isn't going to play? Why is he out? Also, when is the timetable for the Nakamura to return?

McGeady is suspended. Naka should be back February apparently.

as long as we dont lose ,a win will be great ,a draw is not the end of the world, but a defeat it could be curtains,
but i have no fears this is when u see the best of celtic ,this is why we love them,
this is the moment celtic start the season and romp home

Midfield will get congested and although our posession will be good I don't think we'll get enough flowing football going straight through the middle so we really need to play with width..
Teams that are slow in defence and are playing against players with pace tend to defend around their own 18 yard box.. Im thinking of how Scotland played against France (home and away) and keeping a clean sheet in both games..
Against Italy Scotland tried the same tactics and conceded a 1st minute goal from a ball played in behind the defence from a wide position.. Then conceded a second goal from a high ball played straight across the back line from out wide..
I reckon those are the kind of balls into the box that will win this game.. Rangers have the better options playing width (Pretty sure that's why Burke played against Hibs) and they also have Adam , Novo and Buffel can play as a winger..
The best player of our starting 11 at beating a man is Scott Brown through the middle , or Naylor wide left.. Skippy might have to go wide at times just to offer us something different , and if he does we'll need Brown , Jarosik , Hartley or Donati supporting JVOH at times..
JVOH doesn't tend to get many shots away directly in front of goal and is unlikely to find space against a back 4 who are slow , but still have more pace than himself..
I think it's going to be a Skippy strike , a JVOH header , a ball bundled over the line or a penalty that will win us this game (As well as the support of the fans who will drive the team on till the very last whistle)..
I am convinced we WILL win though..

Thanks for that. I've missed the last couple matches lately. I hope to see the match against Rangers online somewhere. I'm sure it will be on one of the many p2p programs.
