Is it just me or do we hear the same drivel from the players or manager every couple of weeks saying how a few home truths have been told and they were turning a corner.
It's wearing a bit thin these days.Actions speak louder than words.

right now there isnt one player at celtic with the personality to be the celtic captain. there not a bit of dig about any of them. wll maybe borac but hes not exactly captain material hes more a loose cannon :P

No-one's blaming the big man, but he's the captain and it's in his remit to kick a few arses when they need kicked. We've always had captains who weren't exactly shy...we don't need one now. It's about time he had something to say!

How have our captains not been shy. I never seen Paul McStay shirek anyone or Tom Boyd for that matter. Personally out of all the team I am glad the big man has the job. If you say he doesnt have the fight for the title or the heart for Celtic you better put your other eyeballs in

Sorry I dont buy that. NOBODY on here knows what Mick does in the changing room to justify being captain. Just because he isnt like keano on the pitch doesnt mean to say he is a crap captain.
Has anyone stpooed to think that maybe just maybe he has better captain qualities than any other player at CP. Not his fault he is the best of a "bad" bunch (I use the word bad only so people know what I mean).

Think the point I was making was that it's about time our captain came out and said something. Maybe not directly to the papers but it's about time something was said as there were far too many players underperforming and for one reason or another, Strachan's not addressing the issue or can't seem to fix it. If it takes something like this then so be it. About time some of the players took a long hard look at themselves!
