Liam Miller

Miller has just been Transfer listed by Sunderland today. This is somewhat a suprise seeing that he has been almost an ever present for them this season.

I kind of know the answer to this but would you entertain him coming back to celtic.?

For me He realy did leave a bad taste in my mouth when he left. However it was somewhat understandable that his head got turned by Man Utd ,Liam was 22 at the time and inexperienced. To me three seasons later he has now established himself as a Republic international and I think could be a good player for us once again. If we could get him for between 1 and 2 Mill I could see it being a bit of a bargain.

With all the distaste on the other thread on Stan Petrov and some people calling him a mercenry, I think I already no what reaction this idea will get.

Still looked decent in the live games I've seen but I reckon he's got a bit of Gravesen syndrome (thinks he's knws better than the coach where he should play) and has a touch of petulance too..

Any player who pulls on the hoops gets my backing..

I dont know if its a question if he is not good enough for Sunderland as he has played most of the games this season and scored a few crackers along the way.He has also established himself in the ROI side so he is showing that he is up to international level. Also he will hit his peak in a couple of seasons so he is only going to get better.

For me as a player he would be a good signing. On this basis I voted yes. However it is his loyalty that makes me question my decision.

Fav Celtic Player: All time Larsson, Currently Boruc/Robson/McGeady
Fav Celtic Song: Fields of Athenry, Celtic Symphony, LTPS
I wouldn't, If he stayed with us and developed himself he could've turned out better than McGeady is now but 2 or 3 good Champion's League performances saw him going to Man U where he got £45,000 a week and started less than 10 games in his two years with them. It's not even cos I think he's a tratior or anytrhing, but he had a lot to learn with us at the time and learned jackshit at Man U so we don't need him...

thought he was a fantastic young player and only Maloney leaving tops the gutted feeling I had when he left. But why are they punting him?? you have to wonder. He has been doing OK so there must be a reason.

Their must be a reason Keltoi although for the life of me I cant think of one.If you are implying problems with attitude.?

Then I can only go on what was said by TB at the time he left CP. That he thought Liam Miller was a fine boy and a fantastic propect. Also he said that the move was to early for him but when its Man Utd its hard to say no.
