i voted no because of his loyalty to the club. the club stood by him through his long injury problems and he plays a few good games and he's off like shit off a shovel. I have no problem with a player wanting to better themselves but did he honestly think he was first team material at Manchester. Stiffs at best when he would have been playing CL football at Celtic Park. Good riddance!

P.S. I totaly understand the bad feeling our suport have for Miller as he was given so much suport by the Club when he was injured. Then when an oprtunity came that looked greener he was of like a shot.

If I am honest and I was in his position at the time then the Man U offer would have been to good to turn down.He obviously wasnt ready for that move but how do you turn down 45K a week and the oportunity to play for such an ilusterous club.IMO never mind that he didnt make it their at least he showed the bottle to try it.He obviously new he would piss of thousands of Celtic suporters and he was going to try and force himself in to a world class midfield at Utd.This to me shows great ambition and confidence in his own ablity.

I think he is good enough to play for Celtic again and to me this should be a good enough reason to say yes I would have him back.Although if it is true that he has a drink problem then this would scupper a move for me.

Here's my feelings

Petrov - No hard feelings, was here for over 5 years, signed a new contract which got us a decent fee for him - a fantastic fee actually - and left to pursue a new challenge
Maloney - Irked me a little bit with the way he left as we gave him a new improved contract when he was out injured for a year. I'd probably reluctuntly take him back if he was available though and at least he had been about for a few years before jumping ship.
Miller - Not even 6 months in the first team and he thinks he's good enough for Man Utd and signs a pre-contract with them leaving us with nowt after Celtic sticking with him during his injury plagued early career.

Thinking about it we'd have great midfield of all three had stayed though, as Miller would've probably continued to improved instead of deterioating as a footballer. I remember thinking when Miller broke through him and Petrov would be our central midfielders for years to come, if only:

Maloney - Miller - Petrov - McGeady

Slim to none but if everyone had stuck about it would've been electric, specially if we had the likes of Hartley, Naka and Brown on the bench as cover. Oh to dream

Keane's acting the goat a bit down there and it'll either make or break him as a manager. Wallace, Miller and Kenwyne Jones are the 3 players of the season for them so far according to a couple of sunderland fans on other forums i use and 2 of them have been transfer listed. They've either pissed Keane off or he's trying to give them a boot up the arse to keep them in the Premiership. Weird as he said about a month and a half ago tops in an interview that Miller had it in him to be one of the dominant centre mids in the Premiership and for Ireland if only he took games by the scruff of the neck more often.
