There is a very simple reason the atmosphere is no longer the same that no one has mentioned - 12.30pm kick offs! They are shite, half the crowd are still asleep. I live only 6 miles from parkhead but still need to get up at like 10am if i want to have a couple of beers and get to the game in time.

The best atmosphere at an old firm game in recent times was the wed night CIS game when maloney scored that wonder goal. Even bringin back 3pm kick off would be a start.

If you want to know an opinion from "tele supporter" i'll say I've been watchin old firm games for years but last years these games were simply... boring.

I hope it will change soon

Touche'

Aye it takes a lot of prep, U need to get your cargo the day before as u cant get drink til 12.30pm the next day and its usually a Sunday.

The problem is the day before tends to be the Saturday so as sure as he'll you'll be pished the night before and then if u sober up you've had it and you'll be sitting in the north stand snoring. Then of course the jungle bhoys start bangin the drums and its a downward spiral i tells ya! Drink right through i say!!

Pillar of society me

Ii think we will see it ignight again this year with walter and ally back it brings somthing new to beating them since walter fucked us for years its pay back time im glad they brought them to back gives us the chance

And boruc has opend new rivalry with them wich was lost with the departure of lennon and is comment "i hate rangers they are the enemy" i stand by this statement no biggotry about it just a fact they are our rivals same thing its a new breed of hate and its about time those dinosaurs wont see it that way though
agreed with this one i think the atmosphere has changed from season to season in the past few years. the passion from the players on the park is what ignites these games as well as off the field incidents. I think we are in for some cracking games this term.

Nah it's what made the match enjoyable for the fans that try and drag our clubs name through the dirt. What's the matter with keeping all that behind closed doors? I've been guilty of singing the songs, i've even got cds in my car but is there really any need for the public display?

What makes the match is the needle, i guarantee at Parkhead McGeady will be scythed down at least twice and Brown will go through a couple of Rangers players, that's what ignites the fans and its still alive and well!

Hutton and McGeady hated each other I was choking for Hutton to get a roasting against him actually, we'd have seen his price plummet on the back of 1 game!

I remember that game from the 2nd gif as well, McGeady was absolutely outstanding that day, that was the turning point in his development for me actually he tracked back all day and was driving at the full backs instead of the sand dancing!
