McDonald is worth about 15M to Celtic. If he demonstrates that goal scoring rate again next season, EPL clubs will be sniffing.

Potentially, we found a player that can score goals at the rate of Larsson. Yes, I'll dare say it! And what age is McDonald? 24?

Celtic, like McGeady, will not be interested in selling because these type of players can make you that money season in, season out.

I don't see the Murray press hyping up McGeady to a figure of £9. What they did for Murray by convincing Spurs that they were interested in him when they said they weren't was bloody amazing and then convincing the player that No I don't want to go really means yes you do and he gets a cut a cut of the transfer money as a sweetener. All for getting our beloved Rangers out of financial shit. Is McGeady worth more than Hutton? Yes! Will we get £9m or more? doubt it! If the press have got anything to do with trying to sell him we might offload him for £1m.

On the back of half a season? I don't know but it would be for less than he'd be worth should he stay here for 3 or 4 seasons, which he undoubtedly will. If your using Kenny Miller as the yard stick then you can double his fee.

Also to all his detractors in the thread saying he's limited and shouldn't be first choice next season, you should all be thankful we have a striker as prolific and hard working as he is. I wouldn't swap him for any striker in the EPL outwith the top 5 or 6 clubs.
