I was in Sevilla for the game and I have to say I had the time of my life the fans were amazing the spanish people embraced us with open arms.

The game was fantastic, one of the best performances from the hoops I have ever had the pleasure of witnessing. I was seated, make that standing right behind the goal where Henke scored his two crackers. The bhoys realy realy did give everything that night and I felt proud of them and equaly I felt proud of all the fans.

Obviously the big downer was the result and it was a bitter pill to swallow especialy trying to get my head around the cheating Porto players and how the ridiculously bad Ref was to allow them away with blue murder.

However overall it was an amazing memory and will live with me for ever.Even though it was roasting you couldnt get near the water sellers and it was terribly organised for transport in and out of the game. Looking back on it though this just added to the memories.

To win it would have been the cherry on top.

That's where I was, lower tier to the right of the goals. I have never seen the highlights, however I would like to see the build up prior to the game, fans jamming out airports and filling Seville etc. I was spotted on TV by my pals wife crossing one of the bridges. Is there DVD'S our there covering the exodus and invasion as I missed it being part of it.

Thats amazing I was sitting lower stand right at the corner flag about 7 or so rows back from the front what a coincidence.

In regards to the build up I live in Malaga and the coast was heeving with fans for almost a week before the game. The day itself was unreal the hours drive upto Sevill was so much fun. And the city was just a sea of green and white. The locals were amazing and made everyone feel welcome.

Also 5 mins after the game my phone didnt stop ringing from freinds back home saying their was a full view of me and my family after the game looking absolutly gutted. I am sure it must be on the oficial seville tape. I havent seen it myself but a couple of weeks later their was a segmant on Scotland today about obese football fans and sure enough their I was fat Bastard and his fat family members looking gutted at ihe game in Sevilla. Ive never lived that one down oh the shame.

Believe lads....Moscow 2008. If we want it badly enought then it shall be so.

if not this time, i've got a feeling that the players strachs put together will mount a serious assault soon enough

Same area, I was about 4 or 5 rows down from the exit tunnel. I have my ticket stub somewhere, i'll check my seat and row no. When I took my seat there was an old boy sitting beside me. He was not well, heatstroke I think and on his own. I called for assistance, he was taken away and never came back, hope he was ok. A steward came back at half time to get his jacket and stuff

That is a sad story M8 I didnt see that. Ive still got my ticket too but its in storeage.
I am just thinking now Ham but my mind might be playing tricks on me i kind of remember a dark blue mack type thing folded over and over sitting on an empty seat.

However their was a definatly a sole porto fan or spanish old guy waving a flag right over that tunnel prior to kick. And I also got a full view of the streaker being escorted up the tunnel later on. I could of well done without that.
