Are you fae Sikeside or Greenend by any chance? I used to see Stephen get the odd Chinese in the local takeaway next to All Saints Chapel in Coatdyke when he was on Celtic's books.

I knew Peter Grant and Brian McLair very well and Brian Martin too. My claim to fame was having a beer now and again with Tommy Gemmell when he managed Albion Rovers, really nice big guy, his number plate was L15BON on his silver Merc. Harry Hood came by now and again too.

Lenzie, he used to live in the house literally on the doorstep of holy family primary. Played for my uncle from under 12s right up until he signed for Celtic alongside Nicky Cosgrove who was with Man United and the last time i heard Motherwell. He on the other hand did hang about with his pal 'charlie'. Both Stephen and Charlie played for St Ninians, we must have had a habit of producing future Celtic left backs it seems!

Unfortunately IMO it's the Huns who have the next big thing in John Fleck, I used to know him and let me tell you, he will make it big. Adidas signed him when he was 15 for future advertisements, he's 16 now, and they say if he ever get's sold he will be Scotland's highest ever transfer...
rangers bought him a house in paisley to keep him out of trouble
