I've just said i'd like to see more of killen. The reason i said its the scouts job is that thats a fact. I pay my season ticket and other expenses to the club they in turn manage these affairs. There are loads of players out there, why on earth would i make daft speculation on who we should sign.
More than killen, i'd love to see Riordan partnered with skippy and forget the target man, i think he'd contibute about 30 goals a season and loads of assists. But GS likes a target man so either its Killen or the scouts need to find someone else to fit the bill.

Big bad john
All we need to know about BBJ at the moment is in this article - Forest, Swansea, Norwich & Chester. The big man was great for us but bringing him back is the wrong move for both the club and the player. Let him play out his last days at a proper level for his current ability.
"On Friday August 31, 2007, The Times said that John Hartson had signed for League One club Nottingham Forest on a loan move. On Wednesday September 5, 2007. The Western Mail reported that Hartson had rejected a firm approach from Nottingham Forest and was on the verge of signing for his hometown club Swansea City on loan. However the club quickly issued a statement on its website denying the striker was set to sign.
In October 2007 Hartson joined Norwich City on a month's loan.[5] Although Norwich had the option to extend the loan until 31 December, newly appointed manager Glenn Roeder decided to send Hartson back to the Midlands after the initial month period.[6] He then rejected an offer to join Chester City on loan. [7]"

John Hartson used to be a cracking player for us. Now hes a fatter, lazier and ultimately not for us.
