you can not be serious

as i posted in this thread jvoh's goal scoring this season is SLIGHTLY under what hartsons was, though jvoh has more assists this season that hartson did in his entire last season...

JVOH- same goal to game ratio.... more assists..
hartson- same goal to game ration.... less assists....

who would you want in yer team?

yes but people only remember the good times.
totaly forget why he's not still in the team, clearly they also forget to look at the stats, which i posted, which shows jvoh has been involved in more goals than hartson.

Lies, damned lies and statistics eh tits.
As far as i'm concerned, i've seen many a striker come and go at parkhead, i watch this guy (JVOH) play on a regular basis, and he is one of the worst i've witnessed since Biggins.
No stat will tell me different from what i see with my own eyes.
I honestly can't work out why some fans like him, we can do better.

He's a member of a Dutch squad jammed pack full of striking talent it tells its on story.

Also strikers ARE judged on statistics, look at Kenny Miller as the case in point he tried a leg but at the end of the day he just wasn't good enough for Celtic.

it isn't me who made that up, its a famous quote, but the point i'm making is that i see for myself what he does or doesn't bring to my team.
As for the dutch squad thing hammer, he gets a game before Van Nistelrooy, does that make him a better player?

I was a critic of Hartson in his last season, he was too fat and unfit, he couldn't keep up with play.
However, he still had a first touch, could link the play and knocked high balls on effectivelly.

As i said previously the real question, is Jan good enough for me quite simply no.
I really wish he was, in his first game against hibs he almost single handedly won it for us , coming on as a sub at 0-1, scoring 1 and creating another.
Since then he has not looked the same player, i wonder if he even cares, or just another in a long line of foreign merceneries.
