You obviously haven't been on the forum very long if that's your opinion.

As for Sol campbell he would be ideal
Sol Campbell is 3 years older than Laursen.

And Jay, Song is a centre midfielder.

Aiden mcGeady,
Played an absolute blinder against blackburn in the cup. Was man of the match at Centre half.

Sorry M8 thought he was older than 30. However with the form he has shown this season he must have a que of clubs looking for his signuture. Maybe CPL might be our ace in the hole.

i wouldn't be dissapointed if Balde and Mick were the short to medium term CH partnership.
while at every oppertunity (when we go up by 2 or more and comfortable) we blood our youngsters such as O'dae cuthbert and the other boy in the reserves, can't remember his name.

If that suits GS and Lawell it free's funds for other areas, such as a Celtic quality striker in the mould we've become accustomed.

A lot of names are being thrown about but my favourite choice would be Laursen. He scores goals and is a quality centre half.

Senderos wouldn't have the experience to make McManus stronger.
Senderos is pure quality mate , he`d make micks job so much easier . he reads the game so well and can play from the back. my only prob with him is charlie fucking nicholas suggested him 1st lol

id basically say anyone who is:

  • available for about 1-2mil
  • 28+years old
  • has CL or high level experience
  • willing to come for low/medium wages
  • can play in a number of positions i.e CB, LB, RB

wes brown... wages would cripple us.

realistic ideal centerback...dont know.
really is the main reasons we have scouts. we'll not be buying a proven cb in the prem or la liga, we'll buy a player that has been frozen out, or has fallen out with his club or something.
damaged goods so to speak
