AC Milan Goalkeeper, "Dida" was tonight ruled out of the world tig championships
following a horror injury sustained at Celtic Park Glasgow.
"Dida", who was in the running to contest the final of the world tig championship, was
struck down by a gifted unknown from Glasgows east end. The amateur tig player cornered "Dida" between two posts and some netting, the newcomer managed to tig "Dida" then shouted "Youre it" before making a clean getaway among the passers by.
an eyewitness account from John Paul O'Devlin, a veteran to the sport of tig, and school champion for five years at St Benedicts high school, summarised events expertly.
"Dida thought he was the dogs bollocks. but the wee guy ran oan wi a bit of a swagger and just pure done him. top class tig by ra way." added O'Devlin.
Countries throughout the tig championships are trying to trace the unknown tigger in an attempt to determine his parentage with regards to selecting this newcomer for future events.
he was last seen tigging Ally McCoist outside Ibrox park and makeing his getaway along Copland Rd.
