Doumbe injury
Doumbe may not play again this year after damaging his Achilles.
The 28-year-old Cameroonian was hurt by a late tackle in Wednesday's Champions League victory over AC Milan. With Mark Wilson recovering from a knee operation, the versatile Gary Caldwell may be asked to fill in at right-back
i think this is a further indication that celtic need to strengthen the right back slot in january
With wilson out for a further 10 weeks. according to ss
this is also a blow as caldwell n mick were starting to build a really decent partnership

To be honest we have two first team right backs who are very decent when fully fit. It wouldnt make sense to sign another RB when one or both will be fit by the time the window opens. I can nearly guarantee we will not be buying a RB this season. Maybe a LB though. Caldwell will move there now and JFK will play CB.

This is dreadful news. Both RB's are out for a long time, could hardly be worse. Caldwell at RB is a solution for some SPL games, but it certainly isn't a solution for Ibrox or the CL. FFS this is so fucking unlucky. Hopefully Wilson isn't out for that long

Out til the end of the year. Not good. Much as i like WGS i think he's been proved wrong about not getting another fullback in that most people here were hollering for.
Athough i'm sure i saw Wilson standing behind WGS in a photo of training yesterday on the tic website.
