Grow Up

A lot of smart guys and girls post around here, but why do the majority complain? Let me lay out a few things that are bothering me.

Celtic are the dominant team in Scotland.

Celtic are the team from Scotland most likely to make a European impact.

We have had the longest period of NOT BEING FUCKING MISERABLE SINCE I'VE BEEN BORN AND I'M SICK OF HEARING YOU IDIOTS COMPLAINING.

Simple answer is, don't look at the post. Simple really. Most folk do get quite pissed off and iritated at shite performances and results though, it's natural. If you don't then you're very laid back.

we want entertainment as well, its great to win trophies. but i am not paying all that money to sit and watch gutless idiots run about the park, (or not run, in lennon's case) while they collect a big cheque. i would have no problem if it was just the odd bad performance. but this is a sustained run now.

OK. I am glad you care. But i don't think it's your right. That's how i feel. I don't mean this personally man but if you don't like it fuck of and support someone else. This is the best club to support there is. If you want to complain about a team underperforming then Man U might be the ones for you. This club is facing a fight for survival in the next few years and proper fans know there will be REAL things to complain about in the coming months. I welcome your support for the club i love but if you're going to moan now in the next few years you will hang yourself or stop supporting the club, things are going to get that hard.

man utd? top of the english league. playing really well this season, hardly underperforming. might have lost a couple of days ago, but are a really good team and it was just a mild slip up.

Fs I have been at every game this season and away in Europe I think I would class myself as a "proper" fan

I understand why you shouldn't boo the team during a game however after it you have the right to slag off the team the manager if you want...Its why the staff are paid sooo much

Yeah, you are def a proper fan. What I am saying is, the day is coming when slagging the team will be manditory. Right now we are doing really well. Love it.

Being a proper fan is not based on how many games you go to. That just means you can afford it. A proper fan is the one who supports his team in their moment of need, a fan who when all the gloryhunters disapear he is still there willing his team on to better things. Celtic fans have come through many crisis' but real change came about when the real fans decided to support their team from outside the stadium rather than prop up a board who were bringing the club to it's knees.

we are not millionaires in here, our money could easily and probably better spent on other things. if he was not a proper fan, i doubt that we would waste his money just for the sake of it.

Well said. Some people have jobs and commitments which mean it is impossible to follow the team around europe. It doesn't mean they are any less passionate about Celtic.

Personally, I just need to think back to the early 90's and the so called 'crisis' that we are supposedly suffering at the moment comes into perspective.

No one is saying that we are millionaires, but are you telling me that if a man is unemployed then he is less of a fan than someone who can afford to travel.
