Well said, I also agree with some of McGrain's post. Nothing will ever be perfect, if you don't have anythign to eat you complain you got no food, if you score 4 goals you complain you didn't score 5 etc.
we should really be happy now, we are gonna win the league! let's deal with other problems later.

I think what you got to look at is 3 /4 seasons ago we had about 8 players who could have got and deserved player of the year.Larsson,Sutton,Thomson,Mjallby, not douglas,Petrov,Hartson,Lambert. All from one team in the one season
Now Artur Boruc is the only one i could think who would deserve it.
There is nothing wrong with the Celtic fans wanting good team performances instead of this sh1t we have to endure.
You must remember if it wasn't for the Celtic Fans bitching and moaning the high standards wouldn't remain.I still think a crucifixation of some kind was in order after that Kobenhaven display. He got of lightly there.

This club is facing a fight for survival in the next few years and proper fans know there will be REAL things to complain about in the coming months. I welcome your support for the club i love but if you're going to moan now in the next few years you will hang yourself or stop supporting the club, things are going to get that hard.

i have been one of those fans that have complained in recent weeks but ive calmed down now and after thinking about it i think we should give strachan until next season and more importantly the summer transfer window before we call for anyone to be sacked i think if strachan makes some good signings in the summer and more importantly some good sales or players leaving e.g lennon, jaroshit, maybe zurawski and all the other players not of celtic class and bring in some top quality players then next season could be massivly different from this one..

hey hey hey hey heeey!
dont get me wrong...celtic are in a position now financially and successfully on the park....and i am absolutely eccstatic!!!
seriously!...as yeah i can count on one hand how many games i missed during the huns 9 in a row years.....
and it really made me appreciate any form of success that comes our way!.
BUT! that success was always in the post...no matter who is the manager we are now striving ahead of the orcs...all because we are a bigger club and are being run correctly since wee fergus took the reigns off those robbing bastards!.
I support my team week in and out,i have never ever booed a celtic team on the park, never left before a final whistle i absolutely love our club and i am so so proud of it.
but once the final whistle goes then i will reflect on what has happened before me...
and at the moment (in my opinion) wgs just is not doing it for me! tactically he baffles me sometimes, and i continually question his team selection on a regular basis as i feel the best 11 players should be on the park and at the mo...i really dont think they are!.
We have stumbled our way across the finishing line giving the huns a glimmer of hope.
Now you tell me mcgrain (he was a hero in my eyes by the way!)..do you really thing strachan is the man to take us forward??
the summer is going to be one of the most important and defining for celtic football club,we have the opportunity to cement our place as the dominant force in scottish football for years to come..but only if wgs gets his wheelin and dealing spot on!...
Correct me if i am wrong but that exact same opportunity arose after seville and we blew it (bigtime) £22 million raised in a share issue that as far as i was led to believe was going to be made available to o'neill..but it never happened.
If what we are led to believe is correct..wgs is going to have a couple of quid to spend after our success in europes elite competition..
well i just hope that we dont see another mo camara(because he was exactly what he was...a free transfer from bloody Burnley)adam virgo???...i could go on but that would just not be fair as some have delivered to the best of thier ability and i respect that...however when the going gets tough and you need that sutton/hartson type figure to look to to say 'lets git right intae these fkn bams'who lead by example...who can we call upon?...gravesen could be one but who knows what is going on??.
mcgrain..as ive said i appreciate any success in any shape or form that our club brings and no matter what...ill party like ive never partied before.
But if (in my opinion) think that things arent quite right...i will gripe about it...but not in the ground.

Your figures are all wrong. It was made clear at the time of the last share issue that most of the money raised was going to be used to reduce the debt and pay for Lennoxtown.
Our most recent financial results were excellent, so hopefully WGS will get a few quid in the summer tho.

Only 1 share issue since Seville. I don't remember MO'N being promised specific amounts of money either.
You should note that during season 2002/03 which ended in Seville, Celtic still lost money. That is a fact. The only place to be if you want to make money is the Champions League.

but hey?..... do you agree or not that if we kept that team together and added 2-3 decent signings we could have been well on the road to 4 in a row...opportunity missed?

But the wage bill has been absolutley slashed. How can you expect 8 players of the same standard as played for us under a much larger wage bill? What world is that you live in? As for the poor performances, this season has seen us win the title and then go further in Europe than at any time since tha champions league's introduction. You want more?

Hello.
What does the number of posts i've made have to do with my understanding of the game? What's the corollation between typing posts and knowledge of the game please?
What question?

I think there's absolutley no reason to look at Strachans position until he fails to deliver the title. Back to back titles during a managers first two seasons is a fantastic result, certainly not one i even hoped for when Le Guen came in
