Why would these players want to go to Rangers? They would be better off with Birmingham than playing for a club with nothing but domestic Scottish football.

aye money does talk

It's ok coming out with comments like that when you know there would never be a chance of that sort of offer being made to yourself... unless you are a proffessional footballer

Boil it down to a more realistic career for anyone that could cover both teams ... a cleaner at either park ... £45 an hour over there or £5 an hour at CP ... I know what I would take working on the survival side of my family... Would you say no to the more lucrative deal

Hate or no hate you dont have to love the job .. as said money talks

i know what you mean but signing for rangers would dissapoint my family so much they probably wouldnt talk to me and to be honest growing up listening to my uncles talking about celtic and telling me whats right and wrong in football i must say i would find it very very difficult to go to rangers for money it would just seem wrong i would maybe follow my heart as to be honest money never has and never will cloud my judgement on something.

I see where you are coming from aswell m8 but I suppose it is easier on my side as i'm from mixed background ... and i was brought up to always make sure my family are ok ... and unfortunately money would come into this... just my personal opinion .... but i'm sure i could survive on 5 grand a week lol

So your family would really be that disappointed in you bringing in loads of money that you will be spending on them as well? I dont think so.

i'd take it. you'd be an absolute retard not to.

no if you've already earned enough money to be stable for the rest of your life anyway.

DeMarco

why don't you all just become drug dealers or slave traders, I'm sure you would earn 10x as much as now. morally as reprehensible as being a rangers player - equally bad.

back to the topic: always liked McFadden and would love to see him in the hoops. not sure if he could win them the league, because two players don't make a team, however it would be a huge let-down and a big disapppointment if he went to that mob.

found this on a birmingham board

First of all Rangers already have 8 players who can play as a striker. I'm not counting Cousin or Gow as they are heading out the door. Secondly, the money from the Cuellar sale to the fantastic, Kings of the Midlands that are Aston Villa FC is going to be spent on Steven Davis (ex Villa star) and Glenn Loovens from Cardiff City.

And thirdly and most importantly, McFadden is a diehard Celtic fan so there is no way he shall go to Ibrox. So you Bluenoses can sleep easy unless Celtic go for him of course.

Good player though.

He's a Celtic fan, he shouldn't have any urge to join Rangers whatsoever. Especially when he's probably earning decent wages at Birmingham...

He went to Ibrox to watch them play Zenit on the big screen. Somehow I don't think he's a diehard Celtic fan

I still don't know where Rangers are going to find £6M for him + Wages specially as they have other positions they need to fix before another striker. Don't think it's true at all.

He's a Celtic fan there's no disputing it. Apart from the fact he's publically stated it recently, i used to watch him at West Park under 14s. My next door neighbour won players player of the year and Faddy won player of the year that particular year. They were both tims and roomed together

So you being a Celtic fan , would go to Ibrox and go and cheer on Rangers in their biggest game in years ?

i would be very surprised if he went there ,but stranger things happen, as for me ,i would never ever joining them ,even if they offered me the world ,i hate everything that they stand for ,imaging playing for them and listening to all the shite coming from that support ,i would walk with 2 fingers in the air of the park ,
