Big Change for PS3 Section, Talk Celtic United....

Right, this has been discussed for quite some time but we finally have everyone together again and here start's a new era for the PS3 Club team.....'TalkCeltic United'.

Obviously this hasn't been an easy decision, things are going well for the TalkCeltic team right now and there may be a few people who think we should keep things as they are but it is in my view that while there are two clubs playing for TalkCeltic it's always going to cause a tense atmopshere between the two clubs, I want everyone to stay as one.

There have been a few discussions between me, King, Peaky, Badger etc for quite some time and we have decided that we should go for it.

Things used to be brillaint when we were all playing together and I would love to go back to them times, it's been my main project really since I took over as Mod, get the team back together.

We've created a fantastic record with our team and it's going to be hard to leave that behind for a brand new club but we've all improved our Pro's and we really need a fresh start with a brand new club which I will be creating.

We're going to have 4 managers, King, Peaky, Me and Badger, no games will be played unless at least 2 managers are online.

There will no doubt be a couple of people who think this is a bad idea but I would like to think the vast majority will embrace this change as a GOOD thing for the PS3 Section.

I understand people will be dissapointed to leave TalkCeltic to start all over again but I can assure you this will be even more successful and better with elite players like Badger, Gurimjow and KingZander now taking part along with bit part players like Fab, Ache working together etc.

The support you've all given to my decisions up to this point has been brillaint so put your faith in me again please :50:

No snide comments, "Traitor" all that bollicks it's just a PS3 Team, it's not exactly life or death! Let's all wipe the slate clean and start over again, we've some fantastic players and I just want us to have some fun :icon_mrgreen:

The two managers thing I am unsure of. On the one hand Jamie makes a good point about unneccessary losses. Yet on the other hand Costigan and myself (back when I first joined) absolutely dominated and won alot of games for the club when it was just the two of us.

I suppose it's just a decision we all should respect and just see how it works out. To be honest at the moment I personally feel that I am not playing enough clubs currently. So, hopefully this will work in both mine and everyone elses favour.

As for all the sniping or whatever you are talking about, I don't really know anything about that so it doesn't affect me. This pretty much all but seals my fate, I'll be getting shunted to right back! haha! Although I did manage a cheeky hat trick on my last game.

It's been a day of two halves. I thought we all played damn well this morning, winning games with margins such as 6-1. But this evening I just felt like I was struggling to even get a touch of the ball.

Although I did get one good chance, low and behold I was accidentally holding L2 for the special shots, which come with a high risk...Namely any sort of power and you will clear the stadium with the ball! haha!

I came up against a CPU goalkeeper that saved about 15 brilliant shots in one match.

we dominated a match and we hit the post the gk was awsome and they run down the pitch hit the post it then hits our gks head and bounces in , and then mr butterfingers his deer self flaps a shot again later on in the match and gifts a goal its brutal at times but ye just your luck

Haha! I honestly think the last time I cheated in ANY game was the GTA 3 Weapon cheat, still remember it, R2, L2, R2, L2, UP, DOWN, RIGHT, UP, UP, DOWN, RIGHT, UP if memory serves me correctly!

well yesterday clubs was fantastic we did get some shitty poor luck and some obvious scripting but i really enjoyed it badger and peaky102 and myself built up a good understanding and starting wooping people for fun it was funny how easy it became at one point i really enjoyed it ...

and then ...

about 8 people were online and clubs went all pete tong its no ones fault but i personally cant play clubs when there is that many online everyone is running into the one space so the defenders are following us there is litterally no space to move as soon as you get the ball you are running into someone or someone is running into you its very messy i think the only solution to this is if we do have 8 players on or even 7 or 6 say half of the players online take one for the team and go in defence or even in goals after 2-3 matches we just swap about so everyone has their shot of being an attacker and gets a shot of taking one for the team and doing the dirty work at the back ..

i am not great or anything but i can do my job well on the pitch and when i am good im really good but i simply cant play when the above is happening i get so frustrted to the point were the controller is ready to take off

failing that the club is great my team mates is great we just need more organization as a club and relize that wht we are doing isnt working .
