Rat from Shaktar

Bit in the notw, dont no if there is any chance, but nice to hear how much he thinks of Celtic and us

Meanwhile Romanian international left-back Razvan Rat begged Celtic to sign him.
The Shakhtar Donetsk ace impressed Strachan at Euro 2008.
With Lazio, Bologna, Sunderland and Newcastle tracking the £4 million-rated full-back, Celts face stiff opposition to get their man.
But after five years in Donetsk Rat, who has played at Parkhead twice on Champions League duty, admitted the lure of an offer from Parkhead could be too strong to resist.
The full-back, 27, said: “Nobody from the club has told me anything about an approach from Celtic, but they are a great club and, if they were to make me an offer, I would certainly be very interested.
“I have played at Celtic Park twice with Shakhtar and I have never experienced anything else like it.
“It’s the only stadium that I have played in where I couldn’t hear myself think, the noise from the fans was so loud.
“I really hope to have the chance to play there again.”
Shakhtar coach Mircea Lucescu, a fellow Romanian, admits he would be willing to listen to offers for Rat, though the cash-rich Ukrainian outfit are under no pressure to sell.
The player’s agent, Ioan Becali, said: “Last winter, Donetsk refused an offer of £4m for Razvan.
“They’re a rich club and would not sell him below that figure.
“He has attracted a lot of interest from British football and he really likes that style of play, but it would depend on the club as he has more than two years left on his contract.”
