Think it's pretty political to be honest, wee Bernie has been banging on about the UK losing it's GP for quite a while - he had it in for Silverstone & tried to pressure the Government to push money into it.

Not sure how Donny will pan out, but it was a great atmosphere for the bikes - but bikers are a different breed to F1 fans.

I don't know if they will alter the track layout, or just the pits/stadium setup - it's a good track, but not seen any F1 action - so they might alter it, or change it completely (probably not though, as it's a track with history).

All in all, I suppose it's what they call progress.

I wonder if Silverstone will get other races now that it's lost F1?
