From The Celtic Website:
CELTIC will play host to Manchester City in the opening home friendly of the new season, with the reigning league champions facing The Blues on Wednesday, August 6, 2008.
While serving as a valuable warm-up for Gordon Strachan’s men after the Feyenoord Jubilee Tournament in Rotterdam, the game will also provide new City manager Mark Hughes with the chance to test his squad and blood any new arrivals.
The Premiership side have been linked with a number of big names in recent weeks but will travel to Celtic Park with a team already bristling with talented players, including Brazilian Jo, Mexican Nery Castillo, midfielder Martin Petrov, strikers Benjani and Bernardo Corradi and Irish internationalists Richard Dunne and Stephen Ireland.
The game kicks off at 7.45pm on Wednesday, August 6 and is included on your season ticket. Entry for non-season ticket holders is £20 and £10 for concessions.
