I agree. When he first arrived he looked an improvement on Hartson. He was being described as a more mobile BBJ. People have forgotten just how slow BBJ was. If it werent for his injury proneness imagine how many JVOH would have scored. That said he is around 30 now and I wouldnt extend his contract. Think next is his last season and thats fair enough. If we can sell him in the summer and get a few million for him then fine as long as we sign better. Problem is getting better in out usual budget range. I think JVOH was vert cheap for a dutch international striker with a great club pedegree. I like the guy and will miss him. Seems a hell of a nice modest bloke. My hot tip is that Sheridan will leapfrog a lot of older players and will be putting JVOH under big pressure next season.
