Ill give you a brief over-view.
-Basically right now they are signing up for new accounts using a Proxy it appears, this means there is no IP address for us to possibly ban.
-There is no way currently for us to not allow them to sign up. As we cannot close new membership because a few kids are bored on christmas break and want people to visit their forum.
- Most of these postings and threads have been posted while one of us were on. Allowing the damage to be minimal as the threads and the perpetrators do not have a long shelf like on TalkCeltic.
- And don't worry we are doing everything possible to try and control this. Our staff area is buzzing with activity over this.
What you can do:
- If you see a thread posted by one of them feel free to report it. Just in the event that one of us are not currently online. It should be sent to our email address. However, please don't get a witch hunt mentality.
- If your getting private messages like some of you stated earlier today. Please notify one of us and tell us the username and their comment.
-Ignore them. Right now it appears that they are doing a half baked scheme to get more members. But I think with threads such as the Larsson Medical thread they are trying to get attention. As such just ignore them and they will get bored quickly.
