Both Celtic and Rangers discussed postponing the game and it has been decided to go ahead.
I've seen many decent posts from Rangers supporters on other forums calling for it to be called off as there is a genuine lack of appetite for football at present.
The sense of shock is just unbelievable as we all know.
In terms of the logistics of calling it off at this stage I have no idea but I am surprised that it was not cancelled.
Both Celtic and Rangers players must be as 'numb' as the Motherwell players and staff. After all, Phil was one of our own in terms of the footballing fraternity - irrespective of which club you support.
In all honesty, I don't know what the correct decision is but we shall just give him a massive send off in our own Celtic way.
It is up to Rangers supporters how they conduct themselves - I couldn't care less how they behave - as long as we conduct ourselves in our usual manner as Celtic supporters.
And we will - as always. It is at times like this when being a part of the famous Glasgow Celtic support gives me such an overwhelming sense of pride that I could almost cry.
God Bless Phil. May he Rest in Peace.
God Bless his wife and young family.
